Sports Day at Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls took place today and it was such a brilliant day. The students were full of energy, cheering on their forms and creating such a positive atmosphere around the track. A fantastic day overall, and thankfully we had a bit of a breeze to keep everyone going.

A massive thank you to our Premises Team and to Mrs Hodgson and the PE Department for all the hard work behind the scenes to pull off such a huge whole‑school event. Thank you as well to our First Aiders and all staff running the jump events, track placing and everything in between. It really was a full team effort and has given our students some amazing memories.

Well done to every student who took part - and to those who cheered just as loudly from the sidelines. And a big shout‑out to our MCs, Ms Seale and Mr Bari, for keeping the fun, singing and announcements flowing throughout the day.

Such a lovely day for our school community.
