Culture Day 2025: A Celebration of Unity, Talent & Surprise Performances!

On Thursday, 17th July 2025, Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls proudly hosted our annual Culture Day and this year’s celebration was our most spectacular yet! Known for its vibrant energy and heartfelt celebration of diversity, Culture Day has become a cornerstone of our school community, and this year truly raised the bar.

A standout moment came with two surprise performances that left the audience in awe. A dynamic staff dance group featuring Miss Mattison-Weekes, Ms Blair, Miss Weston, and Miss Craig delivered a show-stopping routine. Despite the busy end-of-year schedule, they dedicated their time and talent to create something truly special for our students. We are incredibly grateful for their passion and creativity, our staff are just as talented as our students!

Adding to the excitement, we were thrilled to welcome four renowned TikTok dancers - King Cyrus, Obeng, David Nana, Protais Mengnjo and Richy Sauce. The atmosphere was electric as they took the stage, and their presence brought an unforgettable energy to the day. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them for joining us and supporting our school.

A huge thank you goes to Miss Seale, Assistant Headteacher, who orchestrates this incredible event each year. From auditions and rehearsals to decorations and logistics, her dedication behind the scenes makes Culture Day the success it is. In her own words: “I feel incredibly blessed to host and plan this event each year. POLY AND PROUD!”
