Pink Looks Good on Team Poly!

Wear It Pink day brought plenty of colour, smiles and community spirit to Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls today.

What a wonderful day we had on Friday for Wear It Pink!

We take part every year because this cause is incredibly close to our hearts. Our wonderful Office Manager, Mrs Bridge, is a breast cancer survivor and an inspiration to us all.

Each year, Mrs Bridge and the admin team put together an amazing spread of snacks and treats for staff to enjoy in exchange for a donation, helping us raise money for such an important cause.

It is always a special day within our school community. Staff come together, there is plenty of laughter, lots of pink, and most importantly, an opportunity to raise awareness and support those affected by breast cancer.

£505 Raised for Wear It Pink 2026!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our school community, we have raised an amazing £505 for Breast Cancer Now through our Wear It Pink 2026 fundraising efforts!

Thank you to everyone who donated, wore pink, enjoyed a treat and supported this fantastic cause. The generosity shown throughout the day was truly incredible, and together we have raised a wonderful amount for a charity that means so much to so many.

There is still time to support our fundraising efforts, so if you would like to donate, we would be hugely grateful for any contribution, no matter how big or small.

A fantastic achievement and a wonderful example of our community coming together to make a difference. Well done, everyone!
