Known for his captivating books Varjak Paw, The Outlaw Varjak Paw, Phoenix, and Tyger, his stories explore themes of adventure, identity, and resilience, making them beloved by young readers.

His visit provided a fantastic opportunity for Year 8 students to learn about his journey as a writer, hear engaging anecdotes, and gain a deeper appreciation for the craft of storytelling. A highlight of the event was the lengthy Q&A session, where students eagerly asked questions and received thoughtful answers, offering invaluable insights into the world of writing. Some lucky attendees even had the chance to get their books signed, making it a truly memorable experience.
