ICT

The Computing vision will equip pupils to use computational thinking and creativity to understand and change the world’

Students will learn a wide range of uses of hardware, application, and specialist software such as database and spreadsheet in society. They will investigate how information technology is used in a range of contexts, including business and organisation such as education and home use.

In Practical ICT students will gain a broad working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, automated documents, and image, and to apply their knowledge and understanding to solve problems in a vocational setting.  They will learn how IT can be used to fulfil the needs of organisations and individual, and how data and information is used and transferred.
